With a career that spans transportation to medical device sales to small business ownership, he brings a wide range of experience to the Paul Davis team.

Originally from Washington Terrace, James now calls Syracuse, UT home where he lives with his wife and youngest two kids.

My passion is financial education. I teach people How Money Works, and how to stop being a sucker. Too often, a big reason people struggle financially is due to a lack of education and their mindset and beliefs. If we can address those things first, the rest of the process can work much better. 

I have a background in international business and have been working in the financial services arena for the last 20+ years. I focus on businesses and individuals that might need more than basic financial strategies.

I am currently licensed for insurance and securities in Utah, Idaho, Wyoming, Colorado, Nebraska and Texas. The investment advisory registration is valid in most states.

I have built my career around hospitality and genuinely love what I do.  I have been with Hilton branded hotels for 18 years and I am fiercely loyal to them.  I'm originally from back East, Pennsylvania was my old home.  I worked with High Hotels from Lancaster for 10 years where I worked under several of their brands.  I worked in Sales at their Hampton Inns until I moved to operations as a General Manager of the Hilton Garden Inn.   We came to Utah in 2013 where I assisted in opening the Home2 Suites by Hilton in South Jordan with WideWaters Hotel Group.  I moved locations in 2016 to work with a Hilton managed hotel - the Homewood Suites Midvale . Most Recently, I joined the Woodbury Corporation to open their brand-new Tru By Hilton in Clearfield.  The hotel is set to open July 16th 2020. I live in Clearfield and enjoy the multiple outdoor activities as well as the National Parks.

His 40 years of experience in manufacturing, international project management and sales to the Water and Wastewater industries have given Les a unique insight into water challenges around the world.   He holds several US and international patents relating to water treatment. Les currently serves on the Advisory Council for the International Water Conference and is an active member of the Water Quality Association, Pacific Water Quality Association and Eastern Water Quality Association.

I attended Ricks College where I competed in track and field, and then transferred to Utah State before joining the United States Coast Guard.
After my military service, I moved to Utah where I met my angel at a dance.  Angela continues to be my perfect partner on and off the dance floor.  We each brought to our union two daughters who are all older now with three of them married (and one grandson, a step granddaughter and three more girls)!  We were also so excited to bring a boy into our family to help balance all that female energy.
